Breakdance is a style of dance that was created & developed as part of hip hop culture among youths in New York City. Breaking includes four primary moves: Top Rock, Down Rock, Power Moves & freezes/suicides. It is danced to both hip hop & other genres of music.
 
Kidzact offers beginner & intermediete Breakdance classes starting with the basics of breaking & building on the skills as they develop with each student. These students are also introduced to the concept of "Breakdance Battles" called Cyphurs. 
 
Students should be 8 years of age to take breaking, however kids 5-7 years can be assesed by the instructors to enter the classes.
Students must wear comfortable clothing & sneakers. No bare feet, crocks or slip on shoes.
 
Classes run in 10 week classes Fee is $75.00 which includes a dance exhibition to finish the session.
All students have the opportunity to participate in workshops throughout the year conducted by industry professionals. They are announced as scheduled. Workshop fees are extra. 
 
Break dance classes are held on Saturdays.
Beginner Breakdance 3:00-4:00
Intermediate Breakdance 2:00-3:00 and 3:00-4:00
